A craft workshop was organised by Japan-based art curator Nanako Koyama and the Mudra Foundation at the Deaf and Dumb School at Palashpalli here last week.
The students showed their creative skills by making various crafts from waste materials. Koyama asked them to create a collage using pictures and text from magazines and newspapers on traditional leaf plates.
Notably, Koyama has join hands with the Mudra Foundation to organise art exhibitions and craft workshops for kids at various places like the lalit Kala Akademi, KISS and XIMB.
The art works by the differently-abled children will put on display at an exhibition to be held during the Odisha Biennale Festival, schedule to begin here from October 26.
