The CPI(Ml) liberation on Sunday staged a demonstration here demanding resignation of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar lal Khattar for killing of 32 people, injury to hundreds and damage of properties worth crores of rupees in riots following conviction of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in a rape case.
The party too demanded arrest of BJP MP Sakshi Maharaja for ridiculing the judgment of the CBI Court that convicted Ram Rahim.
“It is no secret that the Union Government, the Haryana BJP and the Haryana Government were aware of the fake Baba’s illegal activities. The Baba had provided all support to the BJP during the last election, after winning, BJP leaders too donated lakhs of rupees. For this, lakhs of Ram Rahim supporters could manage to gather at Panchkola,” alleged party secretary Yuddhistir Mohapatra.
The party too demanded that all properties of the Baba be sold and the amount realised be distributed as compensation to kin of deceased and the injured.
