CPI lok Sabha member from Jagatsinghpur Bibhu Prasad Tarai was expelled from the party on Tuesday for “anti-party activities.”
Ironically, Bibhu Prasad Tarai had been re-nominated as the party’s Jagatsinghpur lS candidates a few days ago.
CPI State secretary Dibakar Naik announced Bibhu Prasad Tarai’s expulsion. Bibhu Prasad Tarai was reportedly hobnobbing with the BJD.
The CPI had also recently expelled its lone MlA (Chhatrapur) Adikanda Sethi, who, as per speculations, shortly later joined the BJD.
