lawyers of the Orissa High Court here on Monday boycotted the court activities expressing solidarity with their fraternity of advocates of the State Administrative Tribunal (SAT). Protesting against the State Government’s decision to abolish all Benches of the SAT in the State, the SAT Bar Association has been boycotting tribunal activities across the State since last week.
On a call given by the Orissa High Court Bar Association, lawyers also boycotted courts and tribunal activities in the city here thereby paralysing work in as many as 14 courts and tribunals here on the day.
