School and Mass Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra’s son Debashis Patra was produced at the Gramya Nyayalaya, Ghasipura in the district in connection with two cases.
While one case is lodged at the Ghasipura police station against Debasish, the other one was filed at Ramachandrapur PS. At around 10 am, Debashis was brought from from Keonjhar jail amidst tight security produced in the court at around 11.30 am.
Two platoons of police forces were deployed in the court premises. He was produced in court in connection with case no181 of Ghasipura PS and 138 of Ramachandrapur PS. After the court rejected his bail plea, he was sent to jail again. Notably, the Minister’s son was arrested in connection with the Ghasipura PS case on September 19.
