The police arrested two persons with three country-made pistols and two single-barrel shotguns in Boripadar under the Papadahandi police limits on Thursday.
According to Nabarangpur district Superintendent of Police Brajesh Kumar Rai, during the combing operation a police team found two blacksmiths Sambaru Jani of village Boripadar and Tanka Jani of village Marai moving in the jungle with the country-made pistols and single-barrel shotguns.
After interrogation, the police conducted a search at their houses and seized two more locally-made pistols and a single-barrel shotgun. later, both were forwarded to the SDJM Court here, the SP said.
