Sale of liquor at shop counters, which had been suspended in the State due to the Covid-19 situation, resumed on Wednesday. The State Government permitted the counter sale of FMFL, IMFL, wine and beer at the licensed IMFL Off and On shops. The earlier home delivery service also continued.
As per the order, the shops remained open for the counter sale from 7 am to 6 pm.
In order to regulate crowd at the shops, an online system for generation of e-token for slot booking has been developed by the Odisha State Beverage Corporation (OSBC) for taking prior appointment to visit the shops.
