Preliminary investigation revealed that Sanjay learnt the tricks of the trade from internet and basically targeted the houses during evening hours, festival and holidays, informed DCP Anup Sahu.

Sahu further informed that 12 cases have been registered against Sanjay and from the stolen items recovered it is suspected that he is also involved in a number of other cases.

After Sanjay’s arrest on July 26, several CCTV footages showing him breaking into houses at various places in the city are doing rounds in social media.
