The Commissionerate police would take suspended IFS officer Abhay Kant Pathak on remand for two days in connection with the fraud allegation levelled against him by travel agency Sky King.
The SDJM Court here on Tuesday allowed the police for th remand. Earlier, the police had taken his son Akash Pathak on remand for questioning in the case.As per the complaint lodged by the travel agency with the Kharavela Nagar police, Akash, impersonating himself as managing director of the Tata Motors Limited, had booked charter flight tickets and luxury accommodation in five star hotels through Sky King at a cost of Rs 2.78 crore, of which he had paid Rs 2.13 crore and remaining dues amounting to Rs 65,16,233 are still pending.
