The city police on Monday interrogated in custody one Ajay alias Kornoli Das, who was arrested about three weeks ago in connection with the case pertaining to mafia don Sushant Dhalasamant’s alleged attempt from jail to commit crimes in the city.
Allowing a remand prayer made by the Chauliaganj police, a lower court here in the morning permitted the police to take Kornoli on remand for 24 hours. “The accused shall be produced in the court at 11 am on Tuesday,” informed Public Prosecutor Biswajit Baral.
