An armed police reserve (APR) Constable posted at Khurda district Superintendent of Police (SP) allegedly committed suicide on Friday by shooting himself with his service revolver while on duty here.
Radhamohan Parida (28) bearing number 430 suddenly shot himself in his head in the morning. He was rushed to SCB Medical College and Hospital, where he was declared dead, police said.
Further, probes into the incident are on, they added. The exact reason behind the death was yet to be ascertained.
