A married SOG commando was arrested and forwarded to court by Sundargarh police on Friday evening allegedly for raping a married woman of Sundargarh and later sending her obscene video to her relatives.
The accused has been identified as Viku Kujur (30), a native of Tedengamohan under Sadar police station of Sundargarh district.
He is working as SOG commando at Koraput since 2011. He resides with his wife and a 11-year-old son at Dengibadi in Sundargarh.
During his stay at his native village, Viku had known a girl, who later got married and was staying with her husband in a village under Sadar police station.
Viku was staying alone at Koraput and his wife and son were staying at Sundargarh.
Recently, the married woman lodged a complaint in the Sadat police station that Viku had taken
her to a lodge in Koraput and raped her there.
Subsequently, when Viku called her to Koraput but was opposed by her, Viku allegedly sent the obscene video of the woman to the mobiles of her relatives.
The police, after registering a case against Viku, started searching for him.
On Friday, he was nabbed at Sundargarh.
