Members of Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies (PACS), large-Sized Adivasi Multipurpose Cooperative Societies (lAMPS), Service Cooperative Societies (SCS) and Farmers Service Cooperative Societies (FSCS) have now got relaxation on time for fee deposits to become eligible to participate in the Cooperative Society Elections scheduled to be held on January 18 and 25, 2015.
The members, who would deposited the amount 40 days before the election date, would be eligible to caste vote, a notification issued by the office of the Registrar of the Cooperative Societies stated. Now general category members can pay `500 and SC and ST members can pay `100 as membership fee.
