Odisha State Cooperative Bank, Bhubaneswar Branch Deputy General Manager (DGM) Prasanta Kumar Mohanty and Cuttack Branch Manager Pradipta Kumar Choudhury were arrested and forwarded to court by Vigilance officials on Wednesday for entering into criminal conspiracy with each other by sanctioning and releasing loan amounting to `3,08,30,000 to 67 ineligible persons on the strength of forged salary certificate and DDO certificate.
They have cheated the bank of amount for their own personal gain. Accused Prasanta Kumar Mohanty is the ex-branch manager of the Odisha State Cooperative Bank in Cuttack.
