Sameer Kumar Sasmal, Constable in the office of RTO, Rourkela came under Vigilance raid on Friday with his houses at several places being simultaneously searched by Vigilance officials.
Among the assets, hard cash of Rs 1,05,958 was found during the search. The immovable assets included a three-storied building at Jagamohan Nagar, Jagamara, Bhubaneswar and two MIG houses at Arya Vihar, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar.
The total value of the movable and immovable assets in his and his family members’ names detected during the search was calculated at Rs more than 1.27 crore.
