Former Kendrapada BJD Minority Cell president Mohammad Salim Khan on Thursday alleged that a huge conspiracy has been hatched to defame suspended Kendrapada BJD MP Baijayat Panda and him.
Khan alleged that the conspiracy has been hatched in a nexus between a former BJD Minister and a bureaucrat of the State Government. On their directions a couple of days ago, MP Panda’s political coordinator
Debu Mallick quit his job and then at a Press meet levelled many false allegations against the MP.
He further alleged that Mallick tried to drag him into the conspiracy by luring him with promises of making him the Kendrapada Municipality Chairman after the civic body elections.
He also alleged that Mallick threatened him with dire consequences if he did not join them.
Khan also played an audio CD which purportedly contains the conversation between him and Mallick regarding the matter.
He demanded security for him citing threat to his life and family and also urged Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to take cognisance of the conspirators in the BJD.
