The Congress launched its proposed Bhim Jyoti Yatra here on Thursday on the occasion of the 125th birthday celebration of father of Constitution of India BR Ambedkar.
Pradesh Congress Committee president Prasad Harichandan launched it in the presence of the many other party senior leaders and workers. The yatra would be held for two months.
During the yatra, a Rath under the name Bhim Jyoti Yatra would move to all 33 organisational districts of the Congress in the State and inform people about failures of the Naveen Patnaik-led Government in the State and the Narendra Modi-led Government at the Centre. leaders would remind people about various welfare schemes undertaken by the earlier Congress Governments.
