Members of the Bhubaneswar Congress District Committee on instructions of Odisha PCC president Sarat Patnaik held a demonstration before the State Bank of India at IRC Village here on Monday against the alleged mega scam by the Adani Group.
In a meeting presided over by Congress Bhubaneswar North in-charge Ashok Das, the speakers said Narendra Modi and Gautam Adani in a nexus are looting the hard-earned money invested in the SBI and the Life Insurance Corporation by the common people. They said the democracy and tradition have been destroyed by the Prime Minister to help his friend Adani.
District Congress president Biswajeet Das, party vice-president Shibananda Ray , labour leader Kishore Jena and other senior leaders slammed the “anti-people policies” of the Central and Odisha Governments.
