The State Congress welcomed the Supreme Court’s Ayodhya verdict and appealed to people to respect it and maintain peace and brotherhood.
“Congress party welcomes the apex court’s historic judgement on Ayodhya. Lord Ram symbolises chivalry, peace, friendship, sacrifice, patience and social harmony,” Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Niranjan Patnaik said in a release.
Besides, in the wake of judgement, the party deferred its protest programme
between November 10 and 15 against the economic slowdown on directive by the AICC, he said, adding that the new dates would be fixed
later.
