Peeved over non-participation of anyone from the AICC at the funeral of senior Congress leader lalatendu (lulu) Bidyadhar Mohapatra, slogan-shouting Student Congress activists on Wednesday barged into the room of a star hotel here where Pradesh Congress Committee president Prasad Harichandan, leader of Opposition Narasingha Mishra and AICC State in-charge BK Hariprasad and his deputy Subhankar Sarkar were holding a meeting.
The student Congress members, supposedly supporters of lulu Mohapatra, shouted slogans like ‘Delhi Neta, go back’ and ‘Prasad Harichandan Hai Hai’. “Narasingha and Hariprasad were present at the meeting. We discussed panchayat elections and future programmes of the party,” said Harichandan speaking to reporters after the meeting.
