ACongress activist of Rajkanika block, Bikram Das, with the help of his three sons, on Tuesday made an attempt to kill his younger brother Bidhan Das, a CPI(M) activist, by strangulating him following a longstanding land dispute between them. The injured Bidhan Das was rushed to the SCB Medical College Hospital in Cuttack. The Rajkanika police registered a case under Sections 341, 307, 506 and 34 IPC and started inquiry. No arrest has been made so far, stated Rajkanika PS IIC Sandhyarani Behura.
