The Balangir Town Congress committee on Monday staged a dharna before the district Collector’s office here protesting against the irregular supply of electricity and water and the deteriorating law and order situation in Balangir.
Balangir MLA Narasingha Mishra submitted a memorandum to district Collector Arindum Dakua urging him to take measures to improve power supply in the town and the rural areas, water supply in urban areas and to improve the law and order situation by taking strong action against the criminals.
