Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday dismissed as ‘totally baseless and false’ the allegation made by Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Sunday that his BJD Government has siphoned off Central funds meant for the people of the State.
“The Congress party is sinking all over India, including in Odisha,” Patnaik said. Asked about BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s visit to the State on Tuesday, Patnaik said, “I do not think it will have much impact.” Patnaik made the statement in New Delhi during his current visit there.
