The Puri Town Congress Committee would start organising road show programmes here from April 7.
A decision to this effect was taken at a meeting held under chairmanship of Binayak Das Mohapatra here. Congress candidate for the Puri Assembly constituency Uma Ballav Ratha and senior party leaders were present at the meeting.It was decided that the Congress workers will take out a rally around the town and hold workers’ committee meeting in each ward.During the rallies, the workers will raise issues like spurt in various criminal activities, embezzlement of public money and insecure of life for both insiders and outsiders before the people.Besides, a workers’ meeting will be held on April 5, Mohapatra said.
