Cong poses questions to CM on Jharsuguda

Published on:

The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) in a Press meet here presided over by its media chairman Ganeshwar Behera on Sunday posed some questions regarding Jharsuguda to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Behera asked the CM when Jharsuguda people would get justice. What was the reason for the gunning down of former Minister Naba Das and when the conspirators would be identified?  Why is the Government silent over the issue? When will the CM break his silence and when will justice be delivered to the family of Das?

Behera further said Jharsuguda is a developed district, but locals’ employment continues to be a concern despite establishment of a large number of industries. “Why the policy to provide 75% of employment to local youths is not followed,” he questioned.

PCC campaign committee head Bijay Patnaik asked why the law and order situation has crumbled in Jharpada?

MLA Suresh Kumar Routray questioned the expensive campaign of the BJD and the BJP.
