The Pradesh Congress Committee on Saturday formed an RTI cell to collect information regarding irregularities in the implementation of different Government schemes and make people aware about them.
The cell formed at the State level on the approval of the AICC is headed by Hementa Kumar Panda; and there would be three organising zones to be headed by vice-presidents.
A Rajya Suchana Sena at the State level and Suchana Saathis at the gram panchayat level would be working for the purpose.
The activists would collect information from GP, block, tehsil and other ground-level Government offices regarding irregularities in implementation schemes in various sectors, including agriculture and PDS distribution, and make people know about them.
