Pradesh Congress Committee general secretary Aryakumar Jnanendra on Monday threatened to move the National SC Commission over the delayed action of the Gajapati district police administration in taking legal steps against the Zila Parishad president.
Jnanendra alleged that though an FIR was lodged by an SC woman sarpanch at the Kasinagar police station alleging that the Gajapati ZP preident misbehaved with her in the name of her caste, the police are yet to take any action.
Alleging that the police administration is performing as ruling BJD agent, Jnanendra warned the police to take action against the accused within 72 hours.
