Pradesh Congress Committee president Jayadev Jena on Tuesday slammed the decision of the Naveen Patnaik-led BJD Government to postpone the Cooperative Societies’ elections for as long as for one year.
Reacting to the decision taken by the State Cabinet on Monday, Jena said the decision exposes the ruling party’s fear of losing the polls, if held. If the Chief Minister has guts, he should withdraw the decision and begin the election process immediately, the PCC chief challenged.
