Cong corporator rejoins party

Popular youth leader and three-time Congress corporator of the city Dharmanand Patra, who had offered to shun politics and tendered his resignation from the party last week, on Tuesday withdrew his resignation letter.

Citing personal problems for which he had not been able to devote time for party work, Patra had offered to quit the party.

“Patra will continue to work for the party and people of the city, particularly for the residents of Ward-37, who have been electing him to for last three terms,” said an elated city Congress president Moqim.
