Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Prasad Harichandan on Monday failed to exercise his franchise in the panchayat polls as he arrived late at the polling booth.
Prasad arrived at booth no 15 of his Pandiakera panchayat under Kanas block in Puri district after the polling time was over. Notably, the polling time was scheduled from 7 am to 12 pm for the first phase of three-tier rural polls in the state.
