Cong, BJP won't get majority, says Karat

CPM general secretary Prakash Karat on Wednesday said both the BJP and the Congress would fail to get majority in the elections and secular and democratic parties would form the next Government at the Centre.

Karat, while campaigning for party Brahmapur lok Sabha candidate Ali Kishore Patnaik, Brahmapur Assembly candidate Basanta Nanda and Digapandhi Assembly seat candidate Bidyadhar Jena here, urged people to vote for them in order to ensure a corruption-free and developed society.“The Congress and BJP have already failed to address the issues of common man and instead promoted industrialists to loot the country in many ways. Hence, I urge people to vote for the CPI(M) candidates who are committed for development of the society,” said Karat.
