Conduct polygraph test of accused and protectors in Mamita case, demands Cong

The Opposition is being asked to provide proof in the Mamita Meher murder case. If polygraph tests of the main accused Govinda Sahu, Minister Dibya Shankar Mishra, the SPs of Kalahandi and Balangir, the DIG and the BJD organisational secretary are conducted, evidence can be obtained, said the Congress here on Monday.

Party spokesperson Manoj Mahapatra, displaying the video clippings of the SIT probe into the Pari murder case in Nayagarh district and the Press conference of SIT chief Arun Bothra, said that during the probe into the Pari cases, all villagers were cooperating voluntarily and agreed for polygraph tests and only accused Saroj and his family refused to undergo lie-detector tests.

When the accused or their families are sure that they are under the scanner, they behave weirdly, ask for proof, overreact or overact. During the chit fund probe, Naveen Niwas employee Saroj and Pari murder accused Saroj’s behaviour, over-reaction and overacting is same as the accused Minister and BJD organisational secretary, said Mahapata.
