Workers of the Concast steel company staged a dharna in the plant premises here on Saturday protesting delay in salary and Dussehra bonus disbursement.
The workers alleged that though the Concast management had earlier assured that the salary would be paid on October 10 and the Puja bonus on October 14, yet a recent notice has surprised them all. The notice informed that the salary would be delayed by four days and the bonus to be paid on November 11.
hile the company’s reaction has not been available, the workers said they would continue their strike till they are paid salary and bonus.
