The BJP’s Sana Bazar Mandal unit here on Monday urged the Government to fulfill various demands raised by it.
The demands include completion of Janibilla Water Project pipeline from City high School ground up to Neelakantheswar mango market among others.
The ruling BJD got vote in Ganjam district by giving false promises to provide drinking water to every house before the election, but so far the much talked Janibilla water project is yet to be completed fully and the ruling BJD befooled the public, former District president KC Pati alleged. The party demanded rollback the holding tax hike and the hike in electricity charges.
Similarly, crores of rupees which the State Government receives from the Centre in the name of Swatchh Bharat programme is being reportedly diverted and misappropriated to satisfy somes vested interests, and on the contrary, the BeMC is arbitrarily collecting Rs 30 per month from each house which is undemocratic, the party alleged.
