The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), Bhubaneswar Chapter observed the Company Secretary Day that reflects completion of 46 years of the institute’s pursuit towards professional excellence and nation building on Saturday.
ICSI Bhubaneswar Chapter Chairman A Acharya said that all the company secretaries and students should carry forward the professional values and standards set by the torch-bearers of the profession for a good corporate governance. The Bhubaneswar Chapter organised various programmes on personality development, public speaking, quiz/debate competition amongst its students. Besides, a panel discussion on ‘GDP and Environment’ was also held on the occasion. Among others, practicing company secretary B Bedamata and ICSI, Bhubaneswar Chapter Secretary P Nayak were present.
