As part of its continuous efforts to provide better and improved facilities to passengers, the Airport Authority of India (AAI) has taken up a project to develop the Common User Domestic Cargo Terminal (CUDCT) at the Biju Patnaik International Airport here. The main purpose of the project is to provide viable rates to companies, organizations or entrepreneurs that deal and specialise in cargo services across the country.
For this, field studies and joint meeting with IPICOl CMD and other related stake holders will be held soon. The agendas of the meeting will include potentiality, infrastructural requirements, administrative requirements and available resources as the airlines presently operating from and to Bhubaneswar only accept belly cargo. The AAI has invited any kind of recommendations or proposals from all local and leading cargo houses to incorporate them in the agenda of the meeting.
