Chandan Sethy (17) hailing from Andhoti village was electrocuted while repairing an electric connection in his neighbour’s house on Friday.
Reports said Chandan came in contact with a live electric wire while mending the defect and soon felt unconscious due to receiving a shock. later, he was shifted to the District Hqtrs Hospital for treatment where he was declared dead.
Chanadan was only son of Kailash Sethy and was reading in plus II in local Biju Patnaik College. Police seized the body and performed legal formalities.
In yet another incident, in Jamugaon Panchayat under Naugaon block, a youth, whose marriage was proposed to be heldon Thursday, died before the ceremony. He was identified as lipu Banua. His marriage was fixed with a girl from Titira village.
