Campaigning is gathering momentum for the June 3 Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) by-election in Ward-21. After the expiry of deadline to withdraw nomination papers on Monday afternoon, all the four candidates who had filed nominations remained in fray as none of them withdrew their entry.
While the candidates of the major political parties, the BJD, the BJP and the Congress are chalking out their campaign strategies with their respective local party leaders, the Independent candidate Bharati Behera is approaching the voters at their doorsteps with her supporters and sympathisers.
