Bhubaneswar District Congress working president Rasmi Mohapatra on Saturday accused Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik of playing tricks to garner votes in upcoming elections for his party.
“The Chief Minister has announced to spend a whole day at a Biju Mahila Dal executive meet. While he has never spent a minute to look into sensitive incidents of Tikiri teacher’s rape and murder, Pipili Bebina gang-rape and murder, Kunduli gang-rape and murder and Dan Majhi carrying his wife’s body on shoulders, the Chief Minister’s day-long schedule for women’s meet is nothing but a trick to make people fool ahead of general elections,” alleged Mohapatra.
He said people have already understood the false tricks of the Chief Minister. “If the Chief Minister is kind to the women and children, then he should attend his grievance cell regularly and listen to and resolve their grievances directly,” said Mohapatra.
