Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here on Monday launched a unique programme of his Government
called “Mu Hero-Mu Odisha” (I am Hero-I am Odisha) aimed at identifying and giving recognition to the “young achievers” of the State.
large numbers of Biju Yuva Vahini members, who were present at the function held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, lustily cheered the inception of the scheme. Notably, the “Mu Hero-Mu Odisha” is a Government initiative under the Biju Yuva Vahini programme.
“Odisha is a land of brave men. The sons of this soil have always toiled for the pride and self-esteem of Odias. There are Gopabandhus, Madhubabus and Bijubabus in every town, every village and every home and they are to be identified,” Patnaik said, explaining the aim of the programme.
