Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated a slew of projects and laid foundation stones for some proposed projects at Padmpur and Bijepur in Bargarh district on Sunday.
The CM also distributed mobile phones and Modhubabu Pension to beneficiaries and assistance of `10,000 to some SHGs.
The projects which were opened include Sohela-Nuapada Biju Expressway and renovation of Airport at Satibhata.
Patnaik said his Government has been stressing on development of farmers, weavers, SCs, STs and minorities and has targeted to irrigate more than 10 lakh hectares of land in coming years.

Among others, former Minister Bijayaranjan Singh Bariha, MP Dr Prabhas Singh, MlA Sushanta Singh, Zilla Parishad president Gitanjali Putta, MlA Debesh Achraya, MP Prasanna Acharya, Minister Snehangini Chhuria, MlA Surjya Narayan Patro and Minister Badrinarayan Patra attended meetings.
