Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday said he has not yet given any thought to a reshuffle in his Ministry.
Patnaik made the statement to the media in New Delhi during his current visit to the national capital at a time when speculations were rife as to who would be dropped from the Ministry and who would be given new berths in it.
The speculations had followed a statement by Patnaik himself much before he left for Delhi that he would think about a reshuffle in his Ministry.
Political observers feel that Patnaik’s dillydallying over making much-awaited changes in the Ministry is reflective of his growingly weak hold on the ruling BJD affairs with party leaders, mostly MPs, indulging in intraparty squabbling, which Patnaik is unable to contain because the BJD and the State Government are coming under increasing pressure from the BJP.
