Putting all the speculations at rest, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday quashed all rumours in social media over his ill-health and said he is absolutely fit and fine.
Being asked by a mediaperson whether it is true that he is ill and planning to travel abroad for treatment for four months, Patnaik promptly replied, “It’s absolutely false, and my health is absolutely fine.”
Notably, there was rumour circulating for past couple of days in social media WhasApp that Patnaik was set to leave for Michigan in the US for liver transplantation as he has been suffering from chronic grade (four) liver cirrhosis for the past few years.
