Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik laid the foundation stone of a Vedanta pathology lab and diagnostic centre in presence of Chief Executive Officer Vedanta Limited Abhijit Pati and senior members of the management.
The lab is intended to be an advanced state of the art multispecialty facility, with the nodal lab in Jharsuguda and focal lab in Laikera.
Addressing on the occasion, CEO Pati said, “We are thankful to the people of Odisha, especially Jharsuguda, and the State Government for their kind association and unfaltering support. Our journey of a decade in Odisha has been enriching, and we continue to grow stronger and progress together with the community. The Vedanta pathology lab and diagnostic centre is our humble dedication to the people of the region.”
