Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday complimented the State police on the arrest of Sabyasachi Panda.
Patnaik said the police, particularly its intelligence wing, deserve all praise for plotting the arrest of the dreaded Maoist leader.
“I take this opportunity to congratulate the Brahmapur police and particularly the intelligence wing for their success in the arrest of Panda,” he said in the Assembly.
“The police officers responsible for Panda’s arrest will be suitably rewarded,” he announced.
