Pradesh Student Congress president Satyajit Patnaik on Saturday demanded resignation of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Health Minister Damodar Rout for deteriorating law and order and death of gang-rape and burn victim Sujata for negligence in treatment.
The student wing burnt the effigies of the Chief Minister and the Health Minister at the lower PMG here. Further, it warned to gherao the Naveen Niwas on Tuesday if Health Minister Rout does not resign owning moral responsibility. Among others, student leaders Balaram Mohanty, Tanmay Swain and Mitali Puspalak participated in the demonstration.
