The BJD Government has completed one year but in terms of fulfilling its promises and ensuring development of the State, it has failed, alleged BJP leader Brughu Baxipatra. At a Press conference, Baxipatra said the administration and the law and order have completely collapsed in the State. “The Chief Minister has not signed any file in the last year; instead, they were signed by the digital signature of the Chief Minister by some IAS officers sitting in the third floor of the Secretariat which is really shameful for the State,” he said.
He blamed that the State Government has no complaint now as it used to during the UPA Government against the Modi Government as the Centre has been providing enough funds. He regretted that the State was unable to spend the money. In the name of employment to the youths, nearly 773 job camps were arranged at a cost of Rs 135crore but only 792 got job, he alleged. He also said there is no special plan made for the tribals. “The Tribal Advisory Council meeting which should be held twice every month was never organised,” he lamented. Baxipatra also slammed the BJD Government for policy paralysis in health and education sector. Among others, Ashok Mishra, Akhay Sahu, Sibo Shankar Ulaka , Rayagada BJP president Tapan Tapdar and town president Badrinath Mishra were present.
