Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday interacted with the people of Tigiria block through video conferencing over the Ama Gaon, Ama Bikash programme and sanctioned Rs 3 crore for 167 projects in the block.
local MlA Ranendra Pratap Swain and block Chairman Rupa Dalei thanked Chief Minister for his kindness of sanctioning such huge amount for the development of State's smallest block having only 14 gram panchayats.
District Collector Arvind Agarwal, Sub-Collector Amiya Kumar Sahoo, BDO Tapan Khuntia and all the line department officers of the block were present to make the programme a success.
Over 3,000 people congregated at the programme venue at the Puruna Tigiria playground to mark the function.
