In the wake of cyclone Phailin on September 12, the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) has till date received around Rs 170 crore for relief and rehabilitation works in the affected areas.
Most of the funds have come from the State PSUs like the OMC, IDCO, OSBC, OHPC, OPTCl and GRIDCO. Central PSUs like the MCl, Nalco, PPT, NTPC and recently REC have also contributed substantial amounts to the CMRF.
