Accusing Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik of trying to mislead the people of Mayurbhanj about the Subarnarekha irrigation project, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Bhanja Sena activists on Wednesday protested Patnaik during his visit to the district to inaugurate the first phase irrigation of the much awaited Subarnarekha Irrigation Project (SIP).
Accusing Patnaik of trying to mislead the people of Mayurbhanj and Baleswar districts about the irrigation project, the protestors said the project was yet to be completed. However, Patnaik inaugurated the first phase of the project amid protests.
